The Book of UJU

The Sermon
The Scripture Vs The Bible

THE SERMON LIKE THE LORD’S

No greater sermon than the Lord’s!

A message from Uju a servant of Christ Jesus by the grace of God through Christ Jesus, according to the Word in the scripture,

2. To CHRISTENDOM; glory and honor be unto LORD God Almighty and Christ Jesus our Lord savior forever and ever. Amen.

3. According to Amos 7:14-15:

“Then Amos answered Amaziah, I am no prophet, nor a prophet’s son; but I am a herdsman, and a dresser of sycamore trees, and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, “Go prophesy to my people Israel.”

4. So am I, Uju, a worker of art by trade; the Word of God, the Spirit of God, in the name of Christ Jesus appeared to me in a flame of fire from the Scripture; and I immediately prophesied saying, “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand” to people of the world.

5. I am no pastor, evangelist, prophet nor an apostle, but by the grace and mercy of God the father of Christ Jesus, I am writing this message to Christendom according to the scripture.

THE SCRIPTURE Vs THE BIBLE

SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL

1. The scripture is a written word of God by men and women inspired by the Holy Spirit of God through Christ Jesus.

2. The scripture according to 2Tim.3:16-17, states,

“All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction,  and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

3. The scripture, therefore is the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus. It is absolutely spiritual.

4. As a written word of God, it came to men and women by revelation order than by human wisdom or by impulse of mankind – 1Cor. 2:13,

“And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.

5. It came by the mighty hand of God upon designated messengers of God in the Spirit – Rev. 1:10-11,

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the trumpet saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

6. The word of God is his Spirit through Christ Jesus; accordingly, you must be in Spirit to receive it, moved by the Spirit of God upon you. Secondly it came to you for a specific divine purpose, to carry out. You didn’t press for it or requested for it, rather it came to you by the will of the Holy Spirit.

7. More often than not, the word came to you with signs from God showing it is God who sent it. God cannot hide his presence when he appears to you.

8. From creation God has inspired a lot of books by the hands of many for the divine purpose of manifesting himself to his people and to the entire creation.

9. Some of these inspired books were written by the hands of the messengers themselves, while some were written by other people order than the messengers.

10. In effect a lot of people moved by the Holy of God had chronicled events by God they witnessed, who were raised for that purpose.

11. These messengers and writers of the inspired word of God were nonetheless, not prepared to receive the word or take on the divine task given to them, citing Moses, Jeremiah, Jonah as examples, who gave excuses to turn down the divine task. But, at the end of the day, God made up for their lack, and they moved on with the divine mission.

12. Conversely, the bible is a collection of some of the books of the scripture by men, not necessarily moved by the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus.

13. They did not write or contribute to the scripture they collected to form the bible.

14. Of the many books of the scripture only about sixty-six books were collected in forming the bible in some instances.

15. The bible, consequently is physical, and not spiritual. It is the word in it that is spiritual for those who believe in it.

16. So, those who hoard it, distort it, trade with it, tear it, use it for unholy purposes……etc., are just wasting their time. It is a mere physical book in that regard; and to no avail in their selfish practices.

17. But today a lot of fake and false ministers of God in Christian religion, have made untruthful claims of prophesies as coming from God to them.

18. By human instinct, they prophesize a lot of events that didn’t come to pass, or by mere coincidence looks as though it is similar to their false prophesies.

19. In many situations, they have prophesied for Caesar order than for the Lord; for the Lord never sent them.

20. These wicked souls, have appointed time and days and months and years and seasons to prophesy, as though they own the power of prophesy of God. They therefore in their bid to prophesy command God of His revelation to them.

21. At the end of every year/the beginning of the year they will by human instinct as irrational animals list prophesies purporting to come from God to them. Fools!

22. At any event and season set by them, they use same to prophesy to gain self-aggrandizements, such that they may be feared by mere mortals.

23. The scripture condemned them in Col.2:8, saying,

“See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.

“Let no one disqualify you, insisting on self-basement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grow with a growth that is from God.  Col.2:18-19

“These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting rigor of devotion and self-abasement and severity to the body; but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh.” Col.2:23

24. Who are they, you may ask? They are your so-called GOs, senior pastors, pastors, prophets, prophetesses, evangelists, apostles, bishops, reverends, and the like……. fake and false ministers of  the Lord.

The 1st Covenant and 2nd Covenant

PYHSICAL AND SPIRITUAL

1. The 1st covenant laid the foundation of physical worship by Israelites to God under which the people received the law presided over by Levitical priesthood, whose mediator was Moses.

2. The worship under Levitical priesthood failed to perfect the conscience of the worshippers unto salvation, for lack of faith, a spiritual need to relate with God.

3. The written word on the tablets of stone and scrolls could not be inculcated in the hearts of the people upon which the true worship of God is based.

4. The failure of the 1st covenant to achieve the divine purpose of God gave way for enactment of the 2nd covenant.

5. The 2nd covenant is spiritual. It is enacted based on better and excellent promises of God written not on the tablets of stone and scrolls but on the hearts of the people, whose mediator is the Son of God, Christ Jesus sealed by the Holy Spirit with the blood of the Lord.

6. The salvation of the people is therefore guaranteed, by grace and faith in the Lord – the free gift of God.

7. The 2nd covenant according to the scripture in Jer. 31.33, 34, stipulates,

“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD; I will put my law within them, and I will write upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each man teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

8. The emphasis of the 2nd covenant is anchored on spiritual worship of God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

9. The word of God is written upon the hearts the people, such that no one will teach another saying know the Lord, for all of them shall know the Lord by their hearts or spirits.

10. Therefore if you go head to tear, distort, hoard or do otherwise with the bible in the guise you are maliciously dealing with the children of God, is a strive in futility. This is because, what is already required of the children of God in obedience to Him is now on their hearts.

11. Just one word in the scripture is enough to reborn anew one predestined to salvation by God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Faith!

12. The bases of true worship of God through Christ Jesus is faith. Faith is spiritual – a spiritual obedience to the word of God.

13. For without faith it is impossible to please God according to the scripture in Heb.11:6,

“And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

14. In Heb.11:1, the scripture defines faith thus,

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

15. It is obvious that no man shall physically see God and live. Therefore, you only see God through the eye of you heart or spirit, for God is spirit, and man is a mere mortal wearing the cloak of sin; and God cannot behold sin.

16. As a result, it is only by faith in Christ Jesus man can draw near to God.

17. And faith comes only by the hearing the word of God as written in Rm.10:17,

“So, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes from by the preaching of Christ.”

18. In as much as the word of God is written on the hearts of the people of God, it needs to be enlightened for faith to work. An idle faith cannot work the righteousness of God.

19. For faith without works is dead as stated by the scripture in James2:26,

“For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.”

20. Therefore, we need to preach the word of God to bring to life faith in the hearers. For the word of God preached is life and Spirit, according to the Lord in John6:63,

“It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.”

21. Consequently, we need to hear the word of God preached, though written on our hearts to bring faith to work the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Those who preach good news!

22. It is true faith comes by preaching the word of God or preaching of Christ.

23. But how can men preach unless they are sent? The scripture asked this in Rm.10:15,

“And how can men preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!

24. From the above revelation, men who preach good news are normally sent by God, who possess the Spirit of God in them, as written in 1Cor.2:13,

“And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.”

25. The same is said by the scripture in 2Peter1:20-21,

“First of all, you must understand this, that no prophecy of the scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

26. It is evident, that the potency of the word is in the Spirit of God preached by men sent by God.

27. Therefore, if you are not sent by God to preach the good news, your effort is futile; for you preach idle words, lacking power of regeneration. You are consequently a false preacher.

28. For God says that his word cannot proceed from his mouth without fulfilling its divine purpose as written in Is.55:11,

“So, shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and proper in the thing for which I sent it”

29. Thus, the word of God is with might and power fulfilling its divine purpose, and such words are preached by those sent by God who therefore possess his Spirit in them.

30. In reaffirmation the assurance of the potency of the word of God, the Lord said in Matt.24:35, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

Idle words!

31. The scripture says: faith without works is dead, in James2:26

32. Faith works in love; and the love of God makes faith work. And those who exercise faith in God move mountains, for their faith is not dead – is not idle. For an idle faith is a dead faith.

33. In the same vein, and word of God that cannot work is idle, and therefore dead, because is not from God.

34. Thus, an idle word is a dead word, how much more when it comes from a false minister of God; it will obviously be destructive – to show you how dangerous an idle word is.

35. An idle word is a destructive word, racking havoc to the hearers, because is spoken by the spirit of the evil one – Satan the Devil. This is why is very dangerous listening to false preachers of the Lord.

36. For the words they preach or teach are destructive, sending the hearers to eternal damnation.

37. These false preachers, hence, disguise themselves as true preachers, thereby bringing in destructive heresies to their captives as idle words, according to 2Cor.11:13-15,

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So, it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”

38. Therefore, idle words are destructive words preached by servants of Satan, who come as wolves in sheep clothing.

 39. Who are they, you may ask? They are your so-called GOs, senior pastors, pastors, prophets, prophetesses, evangelists, apostles, bishops, reverends, and the like……. fake and false ministers of  the Lord. Servants of Satan!
