The Book of UJU

Psalms 137 vs 4

THE SERMON LIKE THE LORD’S

No greater sermon than the Lord’s!

A message from Uju a servant of Christ Jesus by the grace of God through Christ Jesus, according to the word in the scripture,

2. To the WORLD; glory and honor be unto LORD God Almighty and Christ Jesus our Lord savior forever and ever. Amen.

3. According to Amos 7.14-15:

“Then Amos answered Amaziah, I am no prophet, nor a prophet’s son; but I am a herdsman, and a dresser of sycamore trees, and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, “Go prophesy to my people Israel.”

4. So am I, Uju, a worker of art by trade; the word of God, the Spirit of God, in the name of Christ Jesus appeared to me in a flame of fire from the scripture; and I immediately prophesied saying, “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand” to people of the world.

5. I am no pastor, evangelist, prophet nor an apostle, but by the grace and mercy of God the father of Christ Jesus, I am writing this message to the WORLD according to the scripture.

PSALMS 137:4
“How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a foreign land?

PRAISES

1. Praises are the main anchor of worship of God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit by the children of God in heaven and on earth.

2. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. In heaven, God created spirit beings called angels, and on earth created living souls called human beings.

3. He created the spirit beings and the human beings to His glory – to worship Him through obedience to His word and glorify His name through praises.

4. Therefore, you cannot separate praises from the worship of God, for both form a formidable synergy to the glory of God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, it could be referred to as praise-worship.

SONGS, PSALMS & HYMNS
THANKSGIVING

5. God created spirit beings and humans with distinct tongues to communicate physically and spiritually, to the hearing of all and sundry among themselves, even to animals and other creations of God. Moreover, to use the same to praise Him in thanksgiving.

6. This is a special endowment to spirit beings and human beings God created in His own image, and as such, expected in return appreciation and thanksgiving in worship channeled through praises.

7. Songs, psalms, and hymns are the taproot of thanksgiving in praises to God through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

8. Thanksgiving, consequently, forms the core value in appreciating God for His loving kindness to all beings and all His creation.

9. For this reason, the scripture noted that thanksgiving is better than sacrifice – meaning the sacrifice of songs, psalms, and hymns in thanksgiving is the best sacrifice or offer to God.

“I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD” Ps.116:17

“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Ps.50:14-15

“Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us; and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!” Ps.117

“O Give thanks to the LORD, for he is; his steadfast love endures forever.” Ps.118:1

“PRIASE the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.” Ps.113:1

“O GIVE thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Ps.107:1

10. From every indication, THANKSGIVING means giving thanks with your body, soul, and spirit in appreciation for God’s steadfast love on all beings and all creation.

11. There is no greater sacrifice than giving thanks to God in songs, psalms, and hymns in praises.

12. The scripture remarked that King David was a man after God’s heart. Why? For the simple reason of his thanksgiving in songs, psalms, and hymns in praises to God.

13. Comparatively, King David was a notable sinner, but always went down on his knees for forgiveness backed up with thanksgiving in adoring praises.

14. King David was a reputable musician known to play the best of all the musical instruments, the harp, such that he used it to dispel the evil spirit from the LORD plaguing King Saul.

15. King David was fondly called the psalmist for the single act of songs and praise-worship laid down for generations yet unborn to the glory of God.

16. Truly speaking, there has been none like King David as a man in praises to God.

17. The beginning of most of his psalms starts with praise phrases:

“PRAISE the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his firmament! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his exceeding greatness!

Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with timbrel and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!

Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD.” Ps. 150

“PRAISE the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful! Ps. 149:1

“PRAISE the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens, praise him in the heights!” Ps.148:1

“PRAISE the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for he is gracious, and a song of praise is seemly.” Ps. 147:1

“PRAISE the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!” Ps.146:1

18. The efficacy of praises in songs, hymns, and psalms is such that it draws down the power, might, and glory of God to do divine works.

19. This is apparent in the fall of the wall of Jericho; the war King Jehoshaphat engaged in; and the wars the Israelites carried out in defeating their enemies came by the potency of praises to Jehovah, before, during, and after the wars.

20. The primary activity of the spirit beings in heaven, obedient to God, is that of praise-worship, as revealed in Rev. 5:8.

“And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.”

21. The same is revealed in Rev.5:8-10,

“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints; and they sang a new song, saying,

“Worthy art thou to take the scroll and to open its seals, for thou wast slain and by thy blood didst ransom men for God from every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and hast made them a kingdom and priests to our God and they shall reign on earth.”

22. In fact, one among the greatest gifts of the Holy Spirit is praise-worship: the ability to engage your body, soul, and spirit in thanksgiving in songs, hymns, and psalms to God through Christ Jesus. Nothing glorifies God more than this.

23. In prayer, praises precede requests!

24. The structure of a faithful prayer is such that praises should form a greater percentage of it: from 60% to 90% should be praises, while 40% to 10% should be requests.

25. Most times, your 100% praises in prayer bring about the blessings of God unrequested for!

26. Naturally, when you thank someone for the good done to you, more, unsurprisingly, joins without further request.

27. Virtually everyone takes joy in gratitude! Then, how much more the God of glory!

28. Truly, God delights in praises and thanksgiving, especially when it comes from an upright spirit.

Idle Songs, Hymns & Psalms

UNPROFITABLE THANKSGIVING

1. Truly speaking, one among the greatest gifts of the Holy Spirit is praise-worship: the ability to engage your body, soul, and spirit in thanksgiving in songs, hymns, and psalms to God through Christ Jesus.

2. Nothing glorifies God more than this, especially when it comes from an upright heart.

3. The effectiveness of praises in songs, hymns, and psalms is such that it draws down the power, might, and glory of God to do divine works, exclusively when it emanates from an obedient spirit.

4. Sincerely, it takes the grace of God for one to offer true praise-worship to God because it involves the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus.

5. In true praise-worship, the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus does that through the person engaged in the act; and as such, mountains are eventually moved, without which is an effort in futility, and often times destructive.

6. Because of the involvement of the Holy Spirit of God in praise-worship, the children of God engaged in it are very jealous to administer the act, how much more to a stranger or in strange circumstances.

7. This is evident in the exiles of Israelites to Babylon. The exiles jealously refused to sing the LORD’s song to their captors, even when they were compelled to do so; to them, it is very provocative.

8. This is as written in Ps. 137:1-4,

“BY the waters of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion. On the willows there we hung up our lyres. For there our captors required of us songs, and tormentors, mirth, saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion.”

How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a foreign land?”

9. God, in His infinite mercy, has given mankind various and numerous talents, more especially that of singing songs and, therefore, becoming amazing musicians. But many have used these talents to glorify Satan instead of glorifying God.

10. Well, God cannot force you out of your will to worship Him; He did not create you as a robot.

11. Consequently, God has given everyone the will of choice but beckons all to choose light instead of darkness, such that they will clearly see well to a joyful life in the Lord.

12. Interestingly, we have two distinct classes of musicians – secular musicians and religious ones.

13. The secular musicians are regarded as worldly ones, while the religious musicians are assumed to be religiously praising a deity.

14. The religious singers are also divided along religious volitions – Christian religion and the rest.

15. My primary concern is the Christian religious singers or musicians.

16. Today, praise-singing is the anchor of devotion in Christian religious worship or in the conduct of service in their “churches” – synagogues of Satan.

17. Praise-singing, as a fundamental aspect of religious service in Christian religion, has unequivocally put it on individuals or persons to render the service of singing to the “church” to cajole the souls of the worshippers to worship.

18. This indispensable setting has gone on in disregard of the purity in the hearts of the singers and the intent of the service rendered, which sometimes are hired at a high price paid to sing.

19. Today, it is a global trend to hire religious artistes to do performances in “churches” that regard them as religious star-singers, regardless of their faith in the Lord.

20. Because the demand for the so-called religious star-singers is high as a trend among Christian religious “churches” of high caliber, these so-called religious singers have turned themselves into superstars, making mouthwatering monetary demands and living a lifestyle larger-than-life, even higher and above the secular ones.

21. The so-called religious star-singers have resultantly formed a network involving and engaging in world-class religious music shows with frenzied performances organized by superstar religious “churches” to promote their ante. They are the singers of Babylon the great.

22. In this vicious circle, Satan is at the center of it all, knowingly or unknowingly to the so-called religious star-singers and their promoters.

23. Much more also, the so-called religious star-singers have a high stake in secular activities of the society, wherein they are hired at a big monetary bargain to perform, even shamefully at ungodly events.

25. These so-called religious star-singers are idle singers just like their cohorts and promoters. The songs they render are more or less destructive. They are the singers of Babylon the great.

26. At the center of the songs they sing is Satan the devil, with his demons singing through these dare-devil singers, leading the hearers to damnation.

27. Their thanksgiving in songs, hymns, and psalms is bedecked with the spices of evil in the guise of good offerings of praise. No, it is destructive from every angle of it. Singers of Babylon the great!

28. It is an idle song, hymn, and psalm leading many to destruction.

29. You see them appearing on large billboards, international television studios, online video networks, big-time religious “churches,” top government gatherings, rich and famous celebrations, and all manner of ungodly events as long as you can foot their bills.

30. Shameless souls!

31. And they call themselves praise-worship ministers of God. They are praise-worship ministers of Satan, just like their promoters, who are mainly the so-called “church” owners. All of them constitute the synagogue of Satan.

32. As the synagogue of Satan, they are the present-day Babylon – the captors of the people of God.

33. Christian religion is Babylon the great, as revealed in Rev. 18:1-24; together with their so-called religious star-singers are working in concert to deliver the agenda of the evil one – Satan the Devil.

34. The name Babylon signifies a mixture – real and fake mixed together to give an awful hybrid called the beast. So are the songs sung by the so-called religious star-singers, mixing the songs of God and worldly ones together to give also dreadful hybrid songs – the songs of the beast.

35. This resultant hybrid of a song is a dangerous one, a powerful deceit disarming their captives and the entire world to eternal destruction just like their mother – Babylon the great.

36. These Babylonia songs are in CDs, mp3, mp4, streaming online, on televisions, radio stations, and every media device and channel. WOW!

Why hire Babylonian singers?

37. Today, the true children of God are on exile on earth just like of the old, where Israelites were on exile – being taken into captivity by the ancient city of Babylon.

38. Even the word Hebrew was used of old, first to Abraham, as one whose abode is not on earth, for leaving his home in the ancient city of Ur of Chaldeans by the instruction of God to a foreign land of the Canaanites.

39. Abraham earned the reference – Hebrew by the Canaanites, who saw him as a temporary inhabitant of the land, living in tents instead of in a permanent abode going by his enormous wealth.

40. Abraham was so rich to afford one of the best residential buildings, but instead decided against it, expecting a permanent abode in heaven, by faith.

41. Hebrews came by Abraham, and his descendants from Isaac to Jacob called Israel to this day. The same is applicable to all true sons and daughters of the Lord, pilgrims passing by looking for a permanent home in heaven by faith in Christ Jesus. And so, shall it be.

42. And we are true descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through faith in Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Therefore, we do not have a permanent abode on earth; as pilgrims, we are just passing by to our eternal home in the Lord.

43. Consequently, we are held captive by the world by birth, by religion by volition and by Christian religion – Babylon the great, by deceit, only when you will to be held.

44. Yes, only when you will to be held captive by these captors; for God has given us freedom in Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit, only for you to believe and exercise faith in the Lord who has set us free by his death and resurrection.

45. As it is from old, Babylon the great of today – Christian religion is holding many captives by deceit; Satan using them as a weapon of mass eternal destruction for those who willfully refuse to be saved by the Lord.

46. Christian religion as a result has orchestrated evil backgrounds and set traps as fowlers to capture all manner of foul hearts of men in the name of worshiping the Lord.

47. They go ahead to build stupendous religious structures of worship, attracting and trapping all kinds of arrogant and dead souls and hiring all sorts of Babylonian singers in entertainment.

48. These Babylonian singers call themselves praise-worship ministers of God. These so-called religious star-singers are idle singers just like their cohorts and promoters. The songs they render are more or less destructive. They are the singers of Babylon the great – Christian religion.

49. At the center of the songs they sing is Satan the devil, with his demons singing through these dare-devil singers, leading the hearers to damnation.

50. Their thanksgiving in songs, hymns, and psalms is bedecked with the spices of evil in the guise of good offerings of praise. No, it is destructive from every angle of it. Singers of Babylon the great!

51. It is an idle song, hymn, and psalm leading many to destruction.

52. Why hire them?

Anyone who hires them is like them!

For darkness has nothing to do with light!!

53. May the infinite mercy of God deliver those ignorantly held captive by them, while subjecting them to perpetual destruction. Amen
