God
THE FIFTH MESSAGE OF UJU ACCORDING
TO THE SCRIPTURE TO
WORLD
A message from Uju a servant of Christ Jesus by the grace of God through Christ Jesus, according to the word in the scripture,
2. To the WORLD; glory and honor be unto LORD God Almighty and Christ Jesus our Lord savior forever and ever. Amen.
3. According to Amos 7.14-15:
“Then Amos answered Amaziah, I am no prophet, nor a prophet’s son; but I am a herdsman, and a dresser of sycamore trees, and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, “Go prophesy to my people Israel.”
4. So am I, Uju a worker of art by trade; the Word of God, the Spirit of God, in the name of Christ Jesus appeared to me in a flame of fire from the Scripture; and I immediately prophesied saying, “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand” to people of the world.
5. I am no pastor, evangelist, prophet nor an apostle, but by the grace and mercy of God the father of Christ Jesus, I am writing this message to world according to the scripture.
GOD!
WHO IS GOD AND WHAT IS GOD?
WHAT IS GOD?
6. According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, ultimate concerns, etc.
7. The practice of a religion may also include sermons, commemoration of the activities of a god or gods, sacrifices, festivals, feasts, trance, rituals, rites, ceremonies, worship, initiations, funerals, marriages, meditation, invocation, mediumship, music, art, dance, public service or other aspects of human culture.
8. From the overview man has been tied to beliefs in numerous and diverse religious jurisdictions where a deity or deities are worshipped.
9. A deity is believed to be a supernatural being – a god, considered to be divine or sacred, by the believers.
10. Some believers believe in one god or two gods or multiple gods as the case may be, while some do not believe in existence of any god or deity.
11. What is a god to one or a group of people may be different from other groups, which largely depends on their knowledge and understanding of their beliefs.
12. To some their god may be stone, metal, wood, animal, person, mammon………. etc., while some may see their god differently from the stated.
13. Consequently, what is god, is a deity to the believers that need to be worshipped. As such they worship the god in a manner which resultantly constitute a religion. Every believer is right in his eyes!
14. Like I said, religion is a channel formed by man to relate and reach out to his perceived deity.
15. In what is god we discover who is God. For in multitudes of gods, one must be real, called God, while the rest is fake or false gods.
16. To the hearts of many believers in a god, their god is the real one; even in the face of failed contests they still believe their god is the real one.
17. There can never be two-real gods. No never! One must be fake or false god. Only one real God must be.
Who is God? The only real deity!
18. There are a lot of historical accounts from of old pointing to the existence of gods or deities principally from the believers.
19. Some of these accounts are fake, while some are real; some of them survived the brash of historical dynamism either intact or manipulated. Some are accurately consistent with undisputable facts and figures, while others are not.
20. Those that are accurately consistent with undisputable facts and figures brought to light incredible existences of the past leading to the present and future existences.
21. Exceptionally, the beliefs of the past and present in gods or deities have a huge impact in constructing the wellbeing of mankind. Through fierce tussles and contests among man many lost lives, properties and gods to this day.
22. But, it looks as though one deity and his people have been surviving the turbulence of history to this day, and have also been accurately consistent with undisputable facts and figures revealing far-fetched existence of their past leading to their present and future being.
23. The sheer evergreen historical account of this deity and his people has been a call for concern from time immemorial. From the past, there have been concerted efforts to deface them from the surface of the earth, but each attempt brought them out stronger. They are small and despicably minute in total strength, but tenacious in holding out to the end in defect of their adversaries!
24. I am meant to believe vehemently something in them is stronger than that in their enemies. The one deity in them must be incredibly powerful more than the numerous deities in their foes.
25. Who is this all-powerful deity in this wonderful line of people to be admired.
26. Could it be the only real deity called God?
27. There are a lot of historical accounts from of old pointing to the existence of gods or deities principally from the believers. Comparatively, their historical account is accurately consistent with true and unquestionable facts and figures to this day in written books, tell-stories and present lifestyles about their supreme deity and die-hard believing people.
28. From my intense search and keen discovery, this line of people called their deity, God! God, they say is their deity; and stand aloof to believe and prove to the world is the only living deity, and the rest deities are dead and non-existent!
29. Who is this only real deity called God?
30. From the historical account testifying to the only real deity called God, I and the rest who truly believe in this only real deity called God are sincerely and faithfully able to share the knowledge and understanding we have about Him.
31. The main and genuine source of my knowledge and understanding about God, the only living deity is the scripture – compiled as a book, called the Bible.
32. What is the Bible?
33. The Bible is a collection of books and letters believed to be written by men inspired by God. The various books and letters written by men through the inspiration of God are called the scriptures – 2 Tim 3.16.
34. But the collection of some of them is called the Bible.
35. Reading and understanding the Bible, would give you a proper knowledge of God and his people; God uses a people to manifest himself to this day, called the children of God.
36. The children of God are traceable to the creation of God in the beginning in the form of mankind.
37. According to the scripture: in the beginning God created man in His own image: the book of Gen 1.26, stated:
“Then God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping things that creeps upon the earth”.
“So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”
38. And God called the man he created Adam, and Adam called the woman God created for him, Eve; and they became the first mankind. Therefore, from Adam and Eve all generations of mankind on earth are born.
39. This biblical historical account of creation has been widely accepted by all and sundry across the earth, together with related stories of the bible.
40. The broad acceptance of the biblical account of God and his people has led to the making of provisions and imbibing of God in the beliefs of so many different religious groups either in opposition or support of biblical belief.
41. Such inclusions of the biblical depiction of God in their lives are noticeable in their sacred books, temples, public buildings, homes and lifestyles. They dedicate items depicting God in same possessions of theirs in veneration, and sometimes ascribe the same to unknown god, referring to the only living God.
42. This is evident in Athens, where Apostle Paul saw an inscription on a temple: ‘to an unknown god.’ -Acts17:22-31.
43. Comparatively, the Bible never accepts in veneration any other god or gods, but rather condemn such as idols.
44. The truth is that all mankind knows there is only but one God and find it difficult to believe in Him.
Not all created by God are not his children!
2. From the descendants of Adam, all mankind is traceable back to the creation of God, according to the scripture in Gen.5:1-32.
3. From Adam’s descendants God called and chose his people from the rest of mankind.
4. The method of God’s selection of his people is deeply rooted in believe and faith in Him. This case scenario was manifest in Cain and Abel. The two had believe in God, but Cain lacked faith in God, while Abel had faith in God, and thus his sacrifice was accepted by God.
5. Man has the ability to have faith in God, in order to maintain a good relationship with Him. But, for ignorance lack faith overwhelms him leading to God’s wrath on him by virtue of committing sin like Cain who killed his brother, Abel.
6. The called and chosen people of God are the ones who believe and have faith in Him from the rest of mankind.
7. By their belief and faith in God, these people worship God whom they do not physically see, except in their hearts, leading them to believe that the earth upon which the live is not their eternal home; they are consequently, pilgrims passing by to their eternal home, called heaven, God’s abode!
8. Going by that understanding that the earth is not their eternal home, they from old started dwelling in temporary dwellings, exhibiting the nature of God moving from place to another, hence called Hebrews – people without earthly home origin, by people of old of contemporary living.
9. The same was referred to Abraham in Gen14:13 – ‘Abram the Hebrew.’ Because, Abraham left his country of origin to answer God’s call, to dwell in a strange land as a foreigner with the hope of securing an eternal home. People of his time knew, he was a wanderer, and without a permanent dwelling, and without hope of a permanent dwelling on the land for dwelling in tents despite his enormous wealth.
10. Hebrew could have been the language of the land Abraham dwelt. And from him his children learnt the language, but their belief and faith in their God never changed, rather it grew stronger by the day.
11. But there was a dramatic turn of event in the grandson of Abraham named Jacob, when God changed his name to Israel from his encounter with Him. This came in fulfilment of the promise God made to his grandfather, Abraham, as a reward of the enormous faith Abraham had in Him; for God is ever faithful, keeping to His promises and rewarding people who faithfully believe in Him and obey His word.
12. The language, Hebrew, perhaps was lost of its origin in the course of history, except for Abraham and his children who retained it and carried it over from generation to generation within them, by the Spirit of God who they exercised faith in.
13. Therefore, the character of Abraham and his children became that of the Hebrews to this day, giving rise to Israelites through Jacob, and the Jews through King David to Christ Jesus to eternity.
The manifestation of God
14. Why do a lot of people and their activities deny the manifestation of God? Even though the things of God are plain to them, they still go against it.
15. And these are people that have high creative ability and go ahead to create many wonderful things to their own glory, but failed to acknowledge the Almighty creator of all things pertaining to nature, seen and unseen.
16. The worst theory and hypothesis is that of Evolution; by this scientific attempt to rubbish the creation by God, thereby suggesting that things by nature evolved, and the world aligned themselves to it. Very Incredible!
17. The same is the Big Bang theory, pointing scientifically Beginning came by accident, and people ignorantly fall for it.
18. Even by disobedience, man denies God! The intrigue in disobedience to God is that is committed by people who claim to know God, thereby lacking faith in Him who they trust.
19. Yes, it is obvious no man can physically see God, but His presence and the things pointing to it can physically be seen.
20. First, mankind is undeniable manifestation of God, being the image and glory of God. Two, the birds of the air, all creeping things, the beasts of the forest, the beasts of the seas as living souls, are all the manifestations of God.
21. The trees of the forest, the grass, the firmaments, the mountains, the valleys, the waters, the lands, the air, the stars of the sky, the sky, the planets, the galaxy and all other earthly and heavenly bodies innumerable to mention are His making pointing to His undisputable presence.
23. With all these irrefutable amazing manifestations, why does man deny God?
22. To crown it all to prove His love to mankind, God sent His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, to die for us, to enable us to gain eternal life!
23. The breath we breathe is His Spirit. If God takes it, we are no more. Man is just dust; and flesh you are O’man! And God breathe upon, and you became a living soul; in the same vein He can equally take His breath and you go back to dust from where you were formed.
The making of God!
24. God is never alone!
25. First, God is spirit, and has a Spirit, called the Holy Spirit.
26. God has a Son: the only begotten Son by His Spirit, called Jesus Christ.
27. These two, share divinity with God, being God in their own respect.
28. The divinity is God the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
29. God the Almighty, the Father; God the Mighty, the Son; God the Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
30. The creation of God all came from the divinity. All creation of God came from the divinity!
31. First, God the Almighty, Father, created God the Mighty, the Son by His Holy Spirit; and from God the Mighty, the Son, God the Almighty, the Father created all things – both the heavens and the earth and all the things thereof.
God the Mighty, the Son!
32. The Mighty God, the Son, was the first act of creation by his Father, the Almighty God through His Holy Spirit as written in the scripture in Prov is Prov 8.22-30:
“The LORD created me at the beginning of his works, the first of his acts of old. Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water. Before the mountains had been shape, before the hills, I was brought forth; before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world. When he established the heavens, I was there, when he drew a circle on the face of the deep, when made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep. When he assigned the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth, then I was beside him, like a master workman; and I was daily hid delight, rejoicing before him always, rejoicing in
his inhabited world and delighting in the sons of men.”
33. Isaiah had the revelation of God about Jesus Christ and prophesied same as evident in Is 7.15 called the Sign of Immanuel:
“Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, young woman shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel.”
34. Isaiah continued the prophecy as clearly written in Is 9.6:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
35. The scriptures in the New Testament of the Bible were very explicit in bringing to light who Jesus Christ is. Most of the writers of the collection of New Testament had encounter with Jesus Christ and therefore, shared their knowledge and understanding of him in fulfillment with the prophecies and the prophets of the old who never saw him physically. However, their gospel and letters precisely expounded the spiritual nature of Jesus Christ.
36. From the first book of the New Testament, Matthew, to the last, Revelation, all were writing about who Jesus Christ is, to God and man.
37. The supremacy of Christ above all creation is evident in Col 1.15-20:
“He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities – all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of the cross.”
38. By this very understanding Jesus Christ is God’s power of creation; being in the form of God but never claimed equality with God: being the Mighty God himself as the son, and his father, the Almighty God – the creator of both Jesus Christ, heaven, earth and all the things in them.
39. It is very explicit that Jesus Christ is the true son of LORD God Almighty, and the Messiah of mankind unto salvation. He is indisputably the only way, truth and life to eternity in glory; and this is to all mankind irrespective of religious inclinations. Your belief or disbelief in him cannot change the obvious truth – 1John 2.2.
God the spirit, the Holy Spirit!
40. The Lord said in John 4:24,
“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
41. A spirit is a perpetual living being: either lives perpetually in glory or perpetually in damnation.
42. But God as a spirit is a spirit-giving being, being the Being Himself.
43. A Being is an immortal life.
44. Only the divinity has an immortal life, emanating only from God Almighty, the Father.
45. Conversely, man is a living soul, and has a spirit called the spirit of man. The life of a man is in the spirit of man, which belongs to God. If God takes his spirit from man, man dies, and becomes a dead soul.
46. The dead soul of man is subject to resurrection by God. And all dead souls must resurrect by God, either to eternal glory or eternal damnation.
47. God also created through the Son, Christ Jesus, angels, called the spirit being.
48. They also have a spirit, called the spirit of the angel. Angels as spirits are eternal spirits; they are not subject to resurrection but are subject to eternal glory or eternal damnation.
49. It is only the Son of God, Christ Jesus has the same spirit with his Father, the Holy Spirit. The spirit of the Son, is also the Holy Spirit. Remark, the Lord is the Spirit says the scripture in 2Cor.317
50. But in divinity each has a separate identity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
51. The Father created the Son, through the Holy Spirit by Himself – Prov.8:22-31; and through the same Spirit, a woman gave birth to the child of the Holy Spirit, Emmanuel – Matt.1:18-25.
52. And through the Son, Jesus Christ, the Father created the heavens and the earth and all the things thereof, by the power of the Holy Spirit – Col.1:15-20.
53. Through Christ Jesus, the Son, the Holy Spirit of the Father is sent and given to faithful angels and faithful men who both obey the Father through the Son – John14:16-17.
54. This is how the divinity works!
1. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God the Father, bears testimony and prophesy to Christ Jesus, as the Son –Luke3:21-22; Matt.17:5. That’s why is called the Spirit of Testimony and Prophesy.
2. And through the Son, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit bears witness and prophesy to angels and men who fear and obey the Father through the Son – 2Peter1:20-21
3. Through the Son, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit interprets spiritual truth – the word of God, the gospel of the Son to angels and men called and chosen by God – 1Cor. 2:13. That’s why is called the Spirit of truth.
4. Through the Son, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit counsels – the word of God, the gospel of the Son to angels and men called and chosen by God – 2Peter1:20-21. That’s why is called the Spirit of Counselling, or the great Counsellor.
5. The Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of Comfort, for comforting those of holy beings of God through Christ Jesus who are afflicted by the evil one for the testimony the bear to the Lord
6. Through the Son, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to angels and men called and chosen by God – 1Cor. 12:4-11.
7. The Holy Spirit is likewise the Spirit of miracles, signs and wonders, healing and deliverance, through Christ Jesus.
8. The Holy Spirit, too, is the Spirit of righteousness and holiness; Spirit of resurrection and eternal life; the Spirit of wisdom and understanding; and the Spirit of all pertaining to God, Son, angels and man.
The people of God and the children of God
9. In the beginning God created Adam and Eve; and from them the whole earth was populated with people.
10. From the people of the earth God has his people; and from the people of God, God has His children!
11. Therefore not all the people of God are His children.
12. The children of God as a result are the ones who obey His word through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. The children, thus obey His commandment through the love they have for Him through Christ Jesus by the mercy of the Holy Spirit.
13. From the beginning Adam and Eve had a direction relationship and communication with God, before the fall. They were created to lead mankind to eternal life. For in creation they never had eternal life being made from the dust of the earth.
14. Adam and Eve were subject to death and could only evade death through thorough obedience to the commandment of God. God showed them everlasting love whereby He gave them the freedom of choice.
15. God did not compel them to obedience but gave them a faithful advice to choose eternal life over eternal death.
16. Adam and Eve had the ability to resist temptation or unholy pressure having the breath or spirit of God in them as a living soul.
17. In the omniscience of God, God was taken aback to the fall of Adam and Eve, knowing fully well they have the absolute power to overcome temptation. God’s wrath upon them came not only for the disobedience but, failure to own up the responsibility for the disobedience, and apportioned blame to God instead.
18. From the look of the event that occurred, they were unrepentant in the face of the disobedience.
19. From then on, God started looking out for another line of obedience to manifest His name.
20. Fortunately, the line of obedience came by Abel. But, Abel couldn’t live long to carry on the lineage of obedience to God, for he was killed by his envious brother, Cain. Cain as a result became a fugitive, and was marked out until Seth came by.
21. The coming of Seth, couldn’t produce what God was looking for until the time of Enoch the son of Seth that men began calling upon the name of the LORD – Gen.4:25-26
22. As from the time of Enoch the son of Seth, men started calling upon the name of the LORD, God was happy to manifest His presence and started dwelling among them in response.
23. It was in the seventh generation from Adam, the full presence and power and glory of God manifested in a man called Enoch. The prevailing dwelling of God among then the people propelled Enoch to walk with God in an unprecedented righteous manner, God took him – Gen.5:24
24. After the departure of Enoch, there was a growing disobedience on earth of unequal comparison. Sin and wickedness multiplied to an unsurmountable height, that made God to decide to wipe man away from the surface of the earth – Gen 6:11-13
25. The determination of God to end all flesh on earth came by the hand of another upright man named Noah – Gen.6:9-10; 11-13.
26. God fulfilled His plan with Noah by causing a great flood to overcome the earth wherein only Noah, the wife and his sons and their wives, totaling eight in number survived by the mercy of God to lead another entire different mankind on earth.
27. And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who gave birth to another set of mankind to this day by Noah’s descendants – Gen.10:1-32.
28. From Noah’s descendants came Abraham by Shem, the primary ancestor of Abraham – Gen. 11:10 –32.
29. An incredible turn of event took place when God called out Abraham from his family to journey to a foreign land in the expectation of an eternal dwelling, earning him the name Hebrew: ‘Abram the Hebrew’ by Canaanites whose land Abraham was camping in expectation of eternal abode from God.
30. Abraham’s obedience and an unequal faith in God, earned him God’s special favors. God in response, used Abraham to lay a foundation of a lineage of faith to this day in Christ Jesus by the power of Holy Spirit.
31. Going by God’s faithful promise to Abraham, God caused Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to become the primary ancestors of the living in Christ Jesus, making the Lord to proclaim: The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as the God of the living – Matt.22:32
30. God through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob reinvented his people, called the people of God.
32. But not all the so-called people of God were His children, because there was remarkable disobedience and rebellion among them against God.
33. The covenant God had with them to enable them draw nearer to Him, failed to lead them to the expected perfection due to their disobedience inherent in their lack of faith – Heb. 7:11
34. Consequently, out of mercy and love God promised them another and better covenant, whose mediator is the Son of God – Christ Jesus, rather than a servant, Moses, the mediator of the 1st or old covenant that failed – Heb.3:5-6
35. Based on the New Covenant, another method of worship was instituted by God through the Son, Christ Jesus making him a great high priest of a better hope to salvation – Heb.4:14-16.
36. Accordingly, the coming, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ brought about a re-creation of mankind.
37. Every being living or dead now has a renewed hope of the elusive salvation. There is a rebirth of mankind for all the earth – the divine plan of God the Father from the foundation of heaven and earth: to reconcile all things to Him through the Son, Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
38. For by means of the Son, Christ Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God the Father has therefore manifested His fullness – love, to all mankind, giving rise to a new set of the children of God geared towards eternal life.
39. To this end, God is set to make new heaven and earth and new Jerusalem for holy dwelling of His new-found children saved by the Son, Christ Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
40. To God be the glory through the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
